My appreciation for paintings and antiques grew after going with my Grandmother to stately home sales and auctions in Yorkshire in my teens. I trained at the London Academy of Dramatic Art and after treading the boards for some years, I opened my own shop in the antiques quarter in Harrogate, which I later expanded and all whilst still in my mid-twenties!
I specialise in decorative French antiques, distressed French and Swedish furniture and paintings, buying all over France. These days, I sell from an antiques and interiors centre in the heart of Harrogate where clients are welcome to visit.
My true passion is art, particularly mid-century paintings, French and Swedish portraits and still life, and it is these that I shall be showcasing on the Decorative Collective.
