Item Description
Late 18th century French soft textured cotton quilt block printed with a beautiful pattern of gathered flowers twisting and turning on a warm white ground.
Bleu de pastel and rasberry red flowers on brown stalks and stems.
In an as found condition where the oxidation of the brown colour has caused extensive splitting where it is printed as an outline across the whole piece.Some faded staining as well
