Circa 1790s French Toile de Nantes 'Le Char d'Aurore', 'Aurora's Chariot'.
It is a section of a bed.hanging from a four poster bed and is lightly quilted with a white linen backing and a pretty scalloped hem.
The red is a soft pretty rasberry red and the background white is an old soft white.
In a good as found antique condition with one small area of faded mildew spots and a small amount of damage at its top
