Item Description
A Rare And Historical Royal Coronation Flag from The Coronation Of HRH King Edward VII, this flag was produced to commemorate the crowning of King Edward VII in 1902.
Edward was 59 when he became King on 22 January 1901, on the death of his mother Queen Victoria. The Coronation was set for 26 June 1902, but only two days beforehand the King was forced to postpone it until 9 August, owing to an attack of appendicitis which required an emergency operation.
The Flag is made of Natural Cotton
This is a very rare and important piece of British Royal History.
Areas of fading, marks, small holes and some fraying to the edges.
