Item Description
A Beautiful French Louis XVI Centre or Occasional Table in Burr Elm with Moulded Top.
This table is of delightful form with a shaped frieze and elegant cabriole legs. The top is shaped and moulded with four wells, one to each corner. The piece is veneered throughout in burr elm, the top in particular being exceptionally elegant as the veneers have been quartered, creating a truly beautiful pattern. The table features a single oak lined drawer in the frieze with an ormolu escutcheon plate.
It is beautifully made and suitable for a variety of uses as an occasional table but it could also be used as a side table.
