Item Description
A 19th Century Italian Walnut Centre Table with Original Thick Marble Top.
This fine table is an Italian variant on the French guéridon. Veneered in walnut of excellent colour and figure, this piece has small drawers in the frieze and ormolu mounts including floral paterae and edge mounts to the bottom of the apron. Standing on three shapely legs that are joined by a tripartite platform base. The table retains its thick original marble top of mottled grey colour.
This table has good size which is not captured in the photographs, nor does it capture the thickness of the marble
