Item Description
This is a rare 1930s Italian Baroque style bombé chest of drawers with burl olive wood and burl walnut marquetry with its original Art Nouveau brass handles, three flat brass knobs on the top drawers and three brass drawers pulls on the bottom raw. The beautiful exaggerated curves and the elongated shape of the chest of drawers makes it very versatile, it can easily be used as a side table or a small console table. The chest has been bleached, varnished and wax to accentuation the marquetry work.
