Item Description
Georgian Mahogany Hanging Shelves. The shaped shelves with double reeded edge supported by six finely turned columns with acorn finials and bun feet. Good flecked Georgian cuban mahogany. It stands well on the bun feet, but has historically been hung on a wall with brass fish plates to the back, but should it be hung we suggest only light weight objects.
Condition: Good colour and patina, the shelves have not been re-polished and have some marks, but retain original colour which can be lost in polishing. The top shelf with an old split, this has been stabilised in the workshop so will not move, but is visible in the right light.
