This is an antique display vase. A Japanese, ornate ceramic flower sleeve by Noritake, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920.

• Fascinatingly ornate vase with a brilliant finish and colour
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
• Quality Japanese ceramic, with a light cream ground
• Bold form with wide, flared rim and tapering gently to the foot

• Foliate frieze to the front and rear fascia, set upon a rich green ground
• Relief gilt accents adorn the fascia and add appealing highlights
• Striking shaped handles dazzle with lightly time-worn gilt finish
• Noritake 'Komaru' export mark to the base, registered in London circa 1908
