This is a large vintage decorative serving dish. An Oriental, ceramic centrepiece bowl with neoclassical taste, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1980.
Wonderfully decorated with extravagant gilt mounts
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
White ceramic accentuated with a charming foliate pattern
Ormolu metal figures and legs add contrasting golden hues
Of distinctive oval form with a gently flared, shaped rim
Traditional cherub figures perch prominently at each end
Further enhanced by six mounted birds situated along the pierced rim
Raised upon squat scroll feet with a shaped sash apron - Wong Lee maker's mark to base
