Our Stock # 24238
This is a pair of antique flower vases. An English, ceramic display urn, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
The Slater's Patent was the process of applying wet lace to the clay, with the resulting pattern leaving a textured pattern upon which the design was applied. It was used predominantly between 1885 and 1915, and jointly patented between Doulton and Slater.
- Pleasingly intricate finish and delightful colour
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Quality ceramic with the Slaters patent texture in a tasteful cream hue
- Glazed foliate decor applied atop the ground with raised tubework edges
- Appealing deep blue bands accentuate the rim and footer
- Maker's marks to base for Royal Doulton, Doulton & Slaters Patent and LB monogram
This is a delightful pair of antique flower vases, with a superb decorative finish and quality craftsmanship. Delivered ready to display.
