A fine quality pair of mahogany armchairs, by reputable makers Maple & Co.
Maple & Co. was a British furniture and upholstery manufacturer established in 1841.
The company became one of the prime makers and suppliers of furniture to the aristocracy and royalty in both the United Kingdom and around the world.
Beautiful rich solid mahogany frames, with bar back design and decorative carved stretcher.
Scroll arms and generous sized seats, with lift out seat pads which have been newly upholstered in a thick quality leather hide and hand dyed using traditional methods.
Unique faded tan colour soft leather.
The chairs are in very good condition, raised on sabre legs and bearing the makers label (Maple&Co).
