19th century campaign writing desk in mahogany with veneered panels to each door. Or otherwise known as Antique Bonheur du Jour Cabinet
The top section with multiple drawers and compartments for stationary and letters from loved ones whilst on the battle field
Has the original key and all correct drawers in excellent condition.
Writing slope in green beize.
With original label with writing (illegible)
The base with tapered square mahogany legs with original brass casters.
And a pullout support for the hinged leather bound flip out desk top to allow reading or writing.
Pegs still intact to join both units together.
