Item Description
An early 20th century double-sided trade sign. Hand-painted on wooden panel. Wear and tear to surface due the times it has been cleaned over the years. Signed in bottom lefthand cover by signwriter - 'Fred Angel - Decorator'. Original moulded pine frame and iron hanging strap. A rare survivor from the early 1900s (c.1910–1920). The Western Confectionery Company was a business based in Exeter, Devon.
