We love to sell, which is why you will always see different stock on each of your visits to our extensive showroom at Hoathly, East Sussex which was opened June 2016.
Our business has been in Seaford for nearly 30, years but over the last few years has evolved into one of the most successful decorative antiques businesses in Sussex and, as mentioned above, following the sale of our two shops in Seaford we have moved to one very large premises in East Hoathly, which is easily accessable for both clients visiting and for shippers to collect from and has plenty of private parking available. We stock 17th, 18th and 19th century English antiques and a mix of decorative French furniture, industrial pieces and mid-century furniture. Our aim is as always, to make decorative antiques more widely available to anyone wanting their interiors to be a little more individual. Martin D Johnson Antiques also commissions up-cycled pieces, using recycled industrial equipment as well as uniting antique components with more contemporary materials. We use local restorers, artists and upholsterers to supply some of our stock and travel the UK and France for the rest.
Showroom is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10am-4.30pm with all other times by appointment.
