Item Description
A wonderful antique Tibetan or Nepalese painted rustic pine cupboard. Circa 19th Century.
The piece is hand painted with natural pigments, and the finish to the front has lovely warm tones.
The cupboard is of a good, deep design. The doors open and close well, and the interior has two fixed shelves. A modern hand-forged metal latch has been added. The base panel is later.
The cupboard has been waxed. It shows apparent wear and tear, but it is structurally sound with no loose joints. There is a knock to the back of the left hand side, please refer to the photographs. The right hand side is not painted.
Additional dimensions information:
The cupboard space is 60cm wide x 55cm deep.
