Item Description
A very unusual antique steel framed side chair. With scrolled horn-type ends and turned painted wooden legs, it sits on brass and porcelain castors. Circa 1880.
Delivery is INCLUDED in the price for all areas in MAINLAND England & Wales. Delivery is restricted to ground and first floor unless there is a lift the item can fit in. There is an additional charge of £12 per floor for delivery above the first floor.
The chair has been reupholstered and entirely hand stitched in a luxury Scottish Tweed from Lovat Mill. The Ettrick range fabric is 100% wool, is renowned for its rich colour mixtures and firmly woven tightly twisted yarns. Photograph number 2 is a good colour match.
The painted wood has been refinished in the same colour it was originally, and has been lightly distressed.
