19th Century Antique Ship Painting in Oak Frame from Shipwreck Timbers

A wonderful English early 19th century painting of the HMS Royal George of 100 Guns (1756). The Royal George sank in 1782, and this antique painting of the ship is mounted in an oak frame, made from timbers salvaged from the shipwreck after spending 60 years below the sea. Mounted behind glass and with all the information beautifully written on the reverse. A fine English antique painting of the Georgian ship the Royal George. Dates to the early 19th century, on excellent, original condition.
