Echauri's work often exhibits a strong sense of solitude and contemplation, achieved through his use of shadow and high contrast.

Having spent several years in Latin America, particularly in Uruguay and Argentina, his exposure to different landscapes influenced his visual language. His work is included in significant collections, including the Museo Nacional de Artes Visuales in Montevideo, Uruguay, and the Miguel Echauri Foundation in Pamplona, Spain.
