A finely executed English provincial school oil on panel portrait of a young lady, c1800, presented in it’s original gilt frame.
The sitter is identified by a handwritten label verso as ‘Ann Green Lee, 4th youngest daughter of Thomas Huckell Lee Esq. of Ebford Barton’
Thomas Huckell Lee (c.1752–1822) was a mill owner from Devon and a member of the Exeter Gild (sic) of Weavers.
