A fascinating late C19th zinc lined pine picture carriage box, the removable top hand painted with: ‘Glass painting with care, the Hon’ble R.W Barlow C.S., Brodie Castle, The Advar, Madras, Sutton Carrier, Carriage paid, Dec 12th, 1888’.
Raised on a purpose made stand, this would make for a very interesting coffee or occasional table.
