Item Description
Stunning silver giltwood and cut glass Italian Genoese style chandelier of larger proportions dating circa 1850.
Eight arms wired for tall French electric candles with E10 bulbs give this chandelier a very elegant appearance, terminating in a cut glass silver cased base sphere and strung with cut glass beads and pear drops.
Formerly for candles, this will be wired in our workshops at point of sale.
It will require a custom transport crate ( small additional cost ) and is suitable for a larger country house drawing room being light and airy but with good proportions and a very gentle patina.

Please note that due to the technical nature of our stock all items are double checked prior to leaving the warehouse. Quite often we do not complete the rewire process until an item is sold because style requirements vary. Some stock goes to the US and other countries where voltages are different.
All electrical items hold a PAT test certificate.
Lead time for delivery therefore is generally 2-3 weeks from receipt of funds and may be a little less to London where we deliver weekly.
