Item Description
Pair of antique French mirrors, circa 1890, with narrow, outcurving, watergilt frames and decorative curling acanthus leaf swept corners. Where these mirrors have been dusted for more than 100 years, the gilding has thinned a little revealing the terracotta bole beneath the gold leaf and giving the frames a warm colour. The mirror plates are in very good condition and give an excellent reflection.
