Item Description
Oil painting by American illustrator c1930
As good as American illustration gets in the prewar period. I have found this was the original artwork for a 1929 Packard motor car advertisement but sadly have not identified the artist. The tag line ran ‘Packard, like its patrons, demands and selects only the best the world provides’. A gem like little oil, perfectly painted, full of narrative content and 1920s chic.
It is currently available to view and buy in our Cecil Court Branch in London. If you would like to try it on approval within the M25 please do, otherwise come and visit us in the gallery - we have several hundred of our paintings on display and several thousand in stock!
