Item Description

Framed size 24.5 x 26.5 ins (62 x 67 cm)
We sell a lot of his work but usually smaller scale, late twentieth century agricultural landscapes - horses, cows etc. with a slightly wry feel. This is a more substantial work - both artistically and physically - measuring 24.5 x 26.5 ins (62 x 67 cm) in its frame.
It is signed and dated 1938, the year Bengtsson was involved in the formation of the 'Blandningen' artists group in Skåne. He is represented in public collections including the Malmö Museum and Ystad Art Museum.
It is currently available to view and buy in our Cecil Court Branch in London. If you would like to try it on approval within the M25 please do, otherwise come and visit us in the gallery - we have several hundred of our paintings on display and several thousand in stock!
