Item Description
These cushions are made from a vintage strip woven wrapper from Ghana. The wrapper was handwoven by the Ewe ethnic group on a loom about 4 inches wide in cotton, predominantly in blue, red and yellow colours. The strips were then sewn together to make the larger cloth. I've backed the cushions with another vintage handwoven textile, this time from East China, in blue red and yellow pinstripes, so it works beautifully with the cushion fronts. There are zip fasteners and feather pads.
