Item Description
This exquisite little composition of embroideries comes from the Greek islands. The fragments are silk embroideries on hand loomed, hand spun cotton taken from C19 garments and joined together with crochet. They are in lovey condition and the colours are beautiful particularly the powder blue. I've mounted the compositions on antique hemp over a stretched canvas. There is a hanging wire on the back.
