Item Description
I love this C19 Turkish ottoman embroidery. I think it has a bit of a folk art appearance. The embroidery is beautifully executed in coloured silks and metallic thread on hand spun, hand loomed linen. The colours are still good, and i think its charming. I've backed it onto antique hemp stretched over a canvas frame, with a hanging wire.
