Item Description
This C19 Ottoman embroidery is stretched mounted on an antique hemp sheet. Its an absolute beauty. The embroidery comprises the two ends from a Turkish Ottoman towel, executed in colourful silks and wire thread. The embroidery is on a background of hand spun and loomed cotton. It's in wonderful condition. The palette of silks is soft pastel pink, blue, beige, green and cream. Its so beautiful. I've added a hanging wire on the back so its ready to go.
