Item Description
This lovely large cushion is made from the 2 halves of a vintage Zhuang minority baby blanket. The blanket dates to mid 1950s and was hand loomed in cotton and silk. The lovely pink colour is natural and there are accents of cream and blue in the design. I've backed the blanket with another vintage handloomed textile this time from the Han Chinese. This is indigo with a pink pinstripe and it works beautifully. There is a zip fastener and feather pad. It is very hard to find these now in good quality at affordable prices.
