Item Description
These cushions are made from a now rare vintage Yoruba aso oke with floating supplementary weft in the zig zag pattern. The weave is extremely good, with tight and strong zig zags. On one of the cushions the floating weft is woven closer together so the zig zag stands out more. The aso oke is a greige coloured mix of cotton and slubby wild silk, with the yellow stripes probably in rayon.
The cushions are back in heavy linen, have zip fasteners and feather pads.
