Item Description
This classic French server started life over a century ago slightly deeper in scale but has recently been reduced in depth making it a more practical size and therefore easier to place in the home.
The whole piece is solid chestnut with timbers now mellowed and faded to the most beautiful colour with rich patina.
The top has a long flat surface with no gaps, there are three deep drawers below, all fitting well and running with ease, each with a heavy gauge brass drop handle.
A long single chestnut timber runs the length of the back with the whole piece being raised on four sturdy legs, chamfered in design.
A gorgeous French country server with elegant appeal.
