Item Description
Antique Oriental Japanese large fine quality bronze bowl planter jardinière Meiji Period C1880. Suiban Ikebana art. Suitable for flower arrangement or bonsai art.
Lost wax technique with maker's/artist's mark on the base.
Would look amazing in the right location and make a fabulous centre piece. Great colour and patina.
Overall maximum dimensions: 46cm long (51cm including handles) x 31cm wide x 13.5cm high (internally 42cm long x 27cm deep x 10cm high). Weighs approximately 7kg.
In very good antique condition, with minor historic knocks and marks as is typical, nothing bad. Probably not watertight, so should be used with a liner.
