Antique quality Georgian (George III, C1800) mahogany housekeeper's cupboard secretaire bookcase chest. Sometimes known as an estate cupboard. A wonderful rare quality period piece. Solid and strong, with no loose joints. Full of age, character and charm. Would look great in the right location! No woodworm. Key to cupboard door only. Later patinated leather writing surface. The drawers slide freely.
Overall maximum dimensions: 117.5cmW x 56cmD (78cmD with the writing surface down) x 185cmH (83cmH base plus 102cmH top).
