Large Antique Georgian Walnut Bureau Bookcase - High-Quality 18th Century Display Piece. Impressive split arch toothed pediment. Lovely worn gilt surround to the glass.

This bureau bookcase exudes lovely quality and is rich in age, charm, and character with its elegant design.

The oak-lined drawers slide freely. Very old tooled leather writing skiver.

With no loose joints, it would make a stunning addition to the right location!

Overall maximum dimensions: 103cmW x 59cmD x 224cmH (108cm high base 117 high top). A 79cm high writing surface that measures 90cm wide x 55cm deep. Adjustable shelves. Separates into two halves for transport.

In good antique condition, the piece displays historic knocks, marks, wear, cracks, imperfections, repairs, and alterations—attributes expected with functional antique furniture. Just a few historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure. Later back. There are no working keys (those in pictures are for use as handles only) and the locks are untested.
