Item Description
An antique original oil painting depicting a hilly countryside scene. A dramatic landscape that instantly made me think of the Brecon Beacons.
A patchwork of green fields in a valley by a mountainous outcrop, executed in a familiar, slightly naive style which really captures the spirit of the landscape.
Signed to the lower left ‘G. A. Dunnell’.
Dating to the 1920s-1930s period.
The painting is largely in good vintage condition, there is some wear commensurate with age but nothing serious.
Overall measurements: 111cm x 91cm.
