ANTIQUE CHINESE CLOISONNE TRINKET BOXES
Extremely tactile little boxes in the form of a male and female quail with polychrome enamels.
Very characterful and charming depiction of the birds.
A very fine example of Chinese cloisonne work.
The tops lift off to reveal turquoise enamel interiors.
Decorative items in their own right, but could be used to store precious objects or jewellery.
Dating to the late 19th century or possibly early 20th century period during the latter part of the Qing Dynasty.
They are in excellent vintage condition with only minor handling wear commensurate with age.
Each one measures approximately 10cm long x 6cm deep x 6cm high.
