Item Description
A 1960s Spanish Table by Biosca, Spain. This Dining Table / Desk has wonderfully panelled slab ends with deeply raised and fielded mouldings, typical of Biosca Design. The overall use of massive textured and stained Pine exemplifies quality construction and attention to detail. The design basis is a successful combination of historical Spanish vernacular with a C20th approach, resulting in an aesthetic which is often referred to as 'Brutalist'. Original colour and patina with pleasant signs of wear and use, commensurate with age. Very good solid condition. Thickness of Table top: 6cm.
