Early 20th Century Hand Carved Fairground Figure
A naively yet charming folkart hand crafted early 20th Century French fairground knockdown gaming figure. Attached to a cast metal bracket, which allows the figure to swing around once a ball was thrown at its head. This figure would have been accompanied by numerous other forms of similar look and style. Untouched and completely in original condition as shown.

This well used and aged item shown much wear and tear, in the form of lost painted and carved detail as shown. The paint and faded and crackled, the end of the nose is missing and the metal sections show rust. All in one piece and firm in form.
