Illuminated Fairground Panel

An early 20th century Illuminated fairground floral panel

Intricately hand carved from sectioned pieces of pine wood and with hand painted detail. This highly decorative fairground panel is illuminated with 5 light bulbs that sit centrally in hand carved gold painted flowers. This item would have been part of a larger fairground display at some point as its original cast iron support brackets are still in place to the rear.

This antique object is completely solid in structure and form, firmly in place but shows natural aging across all surfaces including the carved wooden detail and painted surface as we have tried to show in the photos provided. Some of the wooden carving on the flowers is missing and damaged with cracks and aged repairs. The painted surface is original and worn and weathered. The lights we have added are new and fitted with plastic UK bayonet fitted sockets (bulbs not included) the wiring will attach to a plug once connected by a professional.
