19th Century Hand Caved Pharmacy Sign

In the rare form of an early 19th Century hand carved gold gilt painted pharmacy sign. Mounted onto a bespoke metal stand. With old paint still present this item has stood the test of time and uncovered from a very reputable private collection in the South of France earlier this month.

A naturally aged item that has stood the test of time, worn surface resulting is loss of painted surface and aged loss. With light surface cracks across the paint only. The single piece of pine is stable and in one solid piece as shown, can be separated from the stand supplied also.
