Item Description

A Large 19th Century Tavern Pin Ball Game

A large untouched example of a late 19th Century billiard chinois (pin ball) style tavern game. With its original wooden ball this item would have been played by placing the ball on the spring at the bottom right-side cork base and spring loading the ball into the curved funnel to then fall into the numbered point sections. Now more a piece of wall art as its worn painted surface and look makes it highly decorative and unusual.

Dimensions in inches: H 48” x W 21” x D 5”
Age: 19th Century
Origin: EU
Condition: Aged

This item shows natural wear and aging with scratched, stains, missing detail, scuffs worn wooden areas. The wooden ball is present, but the spring looks old and may not function as first intended. A lovely thing regardless of its age and obvious use. (the wood worm has been treated and is long gone due its age).
