Item Description
The casket is glazed on all four side with its original acid etched glass, and both ends open to ease the removable of the coffin.Both original wrought iron latches are present and working
The coffin is made from a hardwood with a continuous carved decoration around the bottom section. The two wrought iron straps are still in situ were the casket would of been attached to the hearse
The original paint is visible along with some small sections of later over painting.
