Item Description

A decorative double sided sorcerers mirror, with seven reverse ground optics on a ruby red glass ground, with the other side being a flat plate.

The mirror plates have age related oxidizing and pitting.

The ribbon has been added for decoration and has a small hoop for hanging. The circular turned frame is mahogany or a similar hardwood with decorative banding. A small spilt to the frame, but nothing is loose and the frame is solid

Sorcerer mirrors were an early 16th century design, used to throw light around via the convex optics this giving them supposable magical powers hence the name.
