Item Description
A set of 9 colourful Botanical engravings by Johann Wilhelm Weinmann from the rare first edition of ‘Pytanthoza Iconographia’. This was a pioneering work as it made successful use of the colour-printed mezzotint process retouched in transparent or opaque watercolour. Presented in bespoke frames behind UV70 glass which cuts reflection and offers some UV protection.
