Item Description

A carved early 20th century Alabaster marble standard lamp. This grand standard or floor lamp has a striking stature and intricate design, carved in Neoclassical form, and made in the late nineteenth century. This marvellous piece would certainly make a striking new feature in any home, old and new alike.

Four small masked faces are carved into the pedestal, while fluting foliate, and egg and dart mouldings can be seen in other sections. The smooth white alabaster has soft grey veining, which only adds to its beauty.
