Item Description
A naturally occurring blue-green botryoidal chrysocolla mineral specimen, originating from Kalukuluku in Congo and presented on one of our exclusive painted plaster display plinths.
Defined by its vibrant colour, chrysocolla forms as crusts where copper minerals have been transformed by water. It is found in various forms including botryoidal specimens on a matrix like this one, characterised by its bulbous cauliflower-like clusters.
It’s vibrant shades of blue make chrysocolla a truly unusual and stunning piece, standing out as a bright and eye-catching feature of a collector’s cabinet.
