A spectacular pair of large, weathered stone lion statues reclaimed from a country house in Norfolk. Ideal for use outdoors, you can just imagine these impressive lions either side of an entranceway leading to a prestigious country estate or standing proudly beside the irons gates of a traditional townhouse.
A handed pair, each composition stone lion is modelled in an imposing stance, with head turned towards the sky and front paw raised, resting on a ball. The stance and scale are reminiscent of the 2nd and 16th century marble Medici lions found in Florence, Italy. Steeped in grandeur, these lion statues are certain to bring magnificence and grandeur to any setting. Each is made from composition stone, beautifully aged with weathering that can only be achieved by exposure to the elements over many years.
Heavy and durable, they are certain to be enjoyed as decorative statues of a garden for years to come.
