Item Description

A large and intricately detailed plaster sculpture of a street scene by celebrated British sculptor, Paul Day. Thought to be an original maquette – a model for a larger piece of sculpture or a later bronze – this 3D wall sculpture reflects Day’s unusual artistic approach to perspective for which he is much admired. It is handmade by the artist and stands at over 2m tall, depicting multiple figures walking through a street among tall buildings in incredible levels of detail. Signed and dated ‘91’, it is typical of Day’s unique style. Similar artworks of his include Metropolitana and Down Town.

Price includes Artist’s Resale Rights (ARR) at 4%.
