Item Description
An incredibly rare walnut extending daybed / sofa bed. Having bergere sides and back with original squab cushions and sprung box base. Raised on turned walnut legs with lovely faded colour and original finish. Circa 1900.
To extend and make up the bed: Remove the back panel by unscrewing 2 small brass screws to the back, this then lifts out. Pull our each end and you have your fully extended bed. For re-upholstery, currently in the original silk velvet.
